Warranty

This warranty is valid for as long as the original owner owns the instrument or up to ten years and is not transferable.  This warranty includes all original woodworking done on the instrument including body, braces, bridge, neck, fretboard, and headstock.  For one year from the date of purchase, the following items will be repaired or, at our option, replaced - tuning machines, pickup, nut, saddle, bridge pins, end pin, and instrument case.  This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear to the instrument, case, or components including finish, tuners, fretboard, frets, nut, saddle, bridge, bridge pins, strings, pickup, pickguard, or any other hardware.  This warranty does not include damage to the instrument, case, or components due to improper care or repairs done by anyone except Blackcap Guitars.  Any unauthorized repairs or customizations to the instrument, case, or components will render this warranty null and void.  This warranty does not include damage due to shipping or traveling with the instrument.  The owner will bear all responsibilities and risks associated with uninsured or underinsured instruments while traveling or shipping in any and all scenarios.  This warranty does not include cracks or any other damage to wood and finish caused by exposure to humidity, rapid temperature changes, or temperatures beyond the suggested ranges specified by Blackcap Guitars in the care section of this brochure.  This warranty does not cover any damage caused by natural disasters, theft, misuse, abuse, impact, or any other accidents or substances including cleaners, solvents, perspiration, alcohol, lotions, oils, cosmetics, or any other substances and liquids.  This warranty does not cover any damage caused by accessories including humidifiers, straps, cables, picks, pickups, capos, stands, tuners, or any other accessories.
